Melissa Shatto USa http://www.melissashatto.com I fear that Americans have too long ridden on the coattails of our forefathers, touting the title "Land of the free, home of the brave," but not acting accordingly. Apathetic and lazy, our standards have dropped so that one can graduate from a learning institution without the ability to read. Backward and sensationalized, our judicial system grants restitution to the criminals, from the innocent, if they can afford better lawyers. The class divide is growing at an alarming rate, a bill was just passed to increase our energy bill by 72%, crack cocaine is claiming, not just the ghetto, as they'd have you believe, but the white males of suburbia, and everyone else, and no one seems to notice. If Mr. Bush's clubhouse isn't effected, it isn't news - until the day the almighty fall. It isn't going to be long. But I have a son that I want to provide for. That's my job. I have used, and will use the voice provided by the internet to have what little say is left for me, and hold on to the addage that there's safety in numbers. | ||
